Terms of Use
Who provides Yester
Yester (yester.ai) is operated by Nicolas Baldovino in Colorado, United States. Contact hi@yester.ai about these terms, support or rights concerns. These terms govern your use of the Yester app. Review them and the Privacy Policy before continuing with sign-in. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.
A free reading experience
Yester is currently free. There are no subscriptions, automatic renewals or in-app purchases in this release. Signing in does not authorize a charge. Your carrier or internet provider may charge for data. Any future paid feature would require a separate, clearly disclosed offer and your agreement before a charge; these terms do not authorize future billing.
Your account
Sign in with Apple or Google identifies your account and allows you to save stories. Keep your sign-in account secure, provide accurate information and tell us if you believe your Yester account has been misused. Do not share another person’s account or impersonate someone. You may stop using Yester at any time. Signing out does not delete your account or saved information. You can delete your account in the app under Account management, or contact hi@yester.ai; see the Privacy Policy.
History, sources and accuracy
Yester presents short historical articles for general information and learning. Articles can be researched, drafted, edited or translated with AI assistance. They are summaries, not primary historical records, and may contain errors, omissions or contested interpretations. Sources in the article identify references for further reading; a citation does not mean its publisher wrote, approved or endorsed Yester or supports every sentence. Verify important claims with the cited and original materials. Historical medicine, law or finance content is not professional advice. Report corrections through Feedback or hi@yester.ai with the story title and supporting reference.
Images and third-party rights
Photo info in the story detail identifies available image source, creator and rights or license information. An image may show a person, location or period related to the story rather than the exact event. Crops and display adjustments can change its presentation. Where AI-generated illustrations are used, they are reconstructions, not archival evidence, and are identified in image information. Wikimedia Commons is a repository, not the owner of every image or a blanket license. Each image has its own conditions. Public-domain status and copyright licenses do not necessarily clear privacy, publicity, trademark or other rights. The absence of a credit never grants permission to reuse an image.
Using and sharing content
You may access Yester for lawful reading and personal use. Rights in the app and its original material remain with their respective owners. Third-party and openly licensed material remains subject to its own license, which takes priority over inconsistent restrictions in these terms. We do not claim exclusive ownership of public-domain material or historical facts. Before reusing text or images, check the original source, attribution, license, required change notices and any share-alike terms. Do not bypass security, disrupt the service, scrape private account data or use Yester to violate others’ rights.
Private feedback and rights reports
Feedback is sent privately to Yester, not posted publicly. Send only material you are entitled to share and avoid passwords or sensitive personal information. You allow us to use your feedback to respond, investigate issues and improve Yester; this does not transfer ownership of your personal information or authorize publishing your message. To report a copyright or other rights concern, email hi@yester.ai with the story or image, the original work, the right concerned, your relationship to its owner and contact details. We will assess the report and may correct, restrict or remove material. We do not claim a registered DMCA-agent process or automatic legal immunity.
Availability and responsibility
We may update, correct, remove or reorganize content, and temporarily restrict access for maintenance, security or misuse. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to contact us. To the extent permitted by law, Yester is provided as available without a promise of uninterrupted access, complete accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing here excludes responsibility or limits remedies where doing so is unlawful, including applicable consumer protections. No mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver or waiver of nonwaivable rights is imposed by these terms.
Changes and questions
We will publish revised terms with an updated date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Where required, we will seek renewed agreement. Changes do not retroactively authorize charges or expand rights to previously submitted personal data. You can contact hi@yester.ai about a dispute or question without giving up any right to seek other lawful remedies.
